The use of ceramicsearch.co.uk is subject to the following terms and conditions;

By entering our site you personally are accepting our terms and conditions for it's use.

Use of the Website

You are permitted to view any non-password protected parts of the website on the condition that;
a. it is used for information purposes only, for reproduction for personal use only and not for reproduction on any other website or for commercial gain.
b. no part of the Website is copied, stored in a retrieval system, or transmitted in any form or by any means to any third party without the written permission of Ceramic Search.

Use of services

"Services" relates to any parts of the website which, by their use, require Ceramic Search to provide a response to you the user. These services typically include our Search Requests, Wanted Items and Shop sections and any other transactional areas of the site which we may add at a later date.

These services are provided on a good will basis and as such we offer no warranty with their use. If you intend to use them then we expect you to do so with common sense and consideration for other users of the site. This means that you are not permitted to post obscene messages or mislead other users about the content of your messages or transaction on the site.

Where visitors offer items to us for sale which match items on our Wanted List, Ceramic Search will endeavour to broker a deal with the person who posted the Search Request in the Wanted List. This transaction involves a time commitment from Ceramic Search which is paid for by the addition of a 15% surcharge on top of the price requested by the seller. The seller and the buyer will have no direct contact during this transaction and all communication is done via Ceramic Search.

We will only process purchases from our online shop once we have confirmation of payment from PayPal or our bank if you have used other methods of payment. We cannot be held responsible for delays in order processing due to non-confirmation or late-confirmation of the transactions from PayPal or our bank. We will endeavour to despatch your order within 2 working days where possible, but please allow up to 28 days for delivery to allow for busy periods or postal delays.

Limitation of liability

We will endeavour to keep our site and services running at all times, but we cannot guarantee their availability beyond our own control i.e. We cannot be held responsible for down time of our ISP etc.

Ceramic Search cannot be held responsible for the loss of any information posted on our site resulting in failed transactions.

We shall not be held liable for any punitive, special, incidental or consequential damages including, but not limited to, damages for loss of use of the site, loss of personal data, failure of transactions through the site or directly with Ceramic Search, failure to provide services or information, interruptions or delays to the website, whether based on contract or otherwise to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Purchases from our online shop are made via the use of a third party secure payment service call PayPal (click here for more info). Ceramic Search cannot be held responsible for any problems with the running of the PayPal service. If you have a problem with using the PayPal service, you should contact them first before contacting us.

Copyright and Trade Marks

All content on the website whether graphical or textual shall be the copyright of Ceramic Search unless otherwise identified with the content, except when references are made to ceramic brands and manufacturers, in which case, the copyright of these names and brands remains with the respective manufacturers and companies.

All Logos Headings and other identifying marks for Ceramic Search constitute it's Trading Marks and as such should only be used by Ceramic Search unless written permission has been obtained from Ceramic Search for their use by a third party in order for them to represent Ceramic Search. These trade Marks remain the sole copyright of Ceramic Search.

You may not copy or store any content from ceramicsearch.co.uk on any means electronic or otherwise unless it is for either;
1. Personal reference
2. With the written consent of Ceramic Search

Data Protection

Ceramic Search reserves the right to ask you for personal contact information during the use of our services. This information is held in a database, which is fully controlled by Ceramic Search and as such no other parties have any access to the information it contains.

Ceramic Search will not divulge any of your personal information to any other business or individual. We hold this data purely for the provision of our services to you.

When register your information with us, you will have the opportunity to provide a password which helps to identify you when you return to our site. You should not need to divulge this password to anyone including any representatives of Ceramic Search. The password prevents others from posting information to our site in your name and as such it is your responsibility to ensure it's security.

Under current English Law, you may request us to provide you with a copy of all personal information that we hold about you. If you wish to do this, then we would request that you do so by sending an email to our webmaster (webmaster@ceramicsearch.co.uk).

Please note that for security reasons, the information will only be sent to the email address that you supplied to us when you registered.

Ceramic Search will not send any marketing or other email to you if you have requested us not to when you registered. However, if you choose not to be on our mailing list, we may still send you emails in relation to any search requests or other services that you use which are specific to you.
